Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington, D.C. Downtown

Scene

Simple and modern hotel that's popular with tour groups and leisure travelers, especially families

With its 2016 renovations, this Homewood Suites is a contemporary property that's simple and functional. A fireplace, multiple large flat-screen TVs, and lots of flexible seating can be used for working and relaxing in the lobby. Large black-and-white photos of U.S. presidential pets are found throughout the common areas. The hotel's guests, who stay an average of three to five days, are mostly leisure travelers, often with tour groups or family members. When in the hotel, guests are typically in their rooms. However, they take full advantage of the hotel's limited dining options, flocking to the lobby for the free morning breakfast and the evening refreshments.
