There’s a pleasing and casual beach-y feeling throughout the property with subtle wave patterns everywhere, including over-bright tiles on the front desk and bar. The restaurant is large, with a covered outdoor deck overlooking the sea. The beach is clean and well outfitted with loungers and umbrellas, and the small pool area, though not very shaded, also has a pleasing view of the water.

The hotel is right on the beach between Trapani and Palermo in Alcamo Marina, a small residential area on the waterfront. The city of Alcamo, a 20-minute car trip away, is a non-touristy area with cafes and shops. The seaside town of Castellammare del Golfo is also close by, about 15 minutes west when driving. By car, Segesta is 30 minutes south, Trapani and Erice around 45 minutes to an hour west, and Palermo about an hour east.

The decently sized, blue-tile-floored rooms were given a colorful update in 2016, with fresh coats of marine-blue paint and new pieces of art on the walls and bronze-and-brown-patterned covers on the beds. In the rooms (which range from Standard units to Suites) are small, wall-mounted flat-screen TVs, minibars, safes, and hairdryers. Bathrooms have a similar blue color scheme and are outfitted with small stall showers with futuristic looking jets. Some rooms have lovely sea views.
