HOTEL2STAY is a sharp and contemporary property with an unusual layout that's spread across two different buildings. The sleek, glass-panelled buildings have a corporate appearance, with fresh, minimalist decor on the inside. The lobby is bright and airy, with light tones and huge floor-to-ceiling windows letting in plenty of natural light. Industrial elements like exposed gray columns and black stone flooring are combined with contemporary out-of-scale fixtures, tropical potted plants, and seating areas with colorful modern sofas. The vibe is calm and sophisticated, though since there's no real communal areas like a restaurant or bar, most guests simply pass through on their way to their rooms. The hotel attracts corporate travelers due to its business-friendly location, though some families and tourists also stay here as it's not too far from the city center. 

The hotel is located in Amsterdam West, in the heart of the business district. It's situated right next to Sloterdijk Station and the A10 Ringway, overlooking the bus depot. There aren't many shops or restaurants in the immediate area, but there's a supermarket down the road and all rooms have kitchenettes equipped for making meals. The hotel is mostly surrounded by corporate buildings and other big hotels, but the city center can be reached in around 10 minutes by train from Sloterdijk Station. The designer shops of Leidseplein are around 30 minutes away by public transport, while the bars and nightlife of De Wallen can be reached in 20 minutes. For attractions like the Van Gogh Museum, Heineken Experience, Vondelpark, and Foodhallen, guests should take the train to Museumplein Station, which is about 15 minutes away. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is 15-minute train ride or taxi ride from the hotel. 

The hotel has 157 self-contained studios designed in a modern, minimalist style. They're all spacious and bright, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows, white walls, and sleek hardwood floors. Geared toward corporate travelers and long-stay guests, they're equipped with home-away-from-home amenities and have a cozy feel. Larger suites and family-friendly rooms are available, adding extra living space and sofabeds. Furnishings are kept simple, with large double beds, spacious closets, comfortable gray sofas, light wood dining tables, and curved white dining chairs. 

Standard amenities include flat-screen TVs, digital music players, safes, and hairdryers, but there's no air-conditioning so rooms can feel hot and humid in the summer months. Modern kitchenettes include microwaves, kettles, Senseo coffeemakers, fridges, ovens, stovetops, and dishwashers. Bathrooms are clean and simple, with white marble-effect tiles, glass-enclosed showers only, and basic free toiletries. Most rooms are well-soundproofed, but some guests have reported external noise from trains. 

HOTEL2STAY doesn't have a full restaurant or bar, but a breakfast buffet of eggs, cereal, toast, and fruit is served daily in the Aristo building for a (hefty) fee. There's a few vending machines dotted around the property providing chilled snacks, and a supermarket just down the road is where most guests stock up on groceries. The hotel doesn't have a full-service spa, but guests can relax in the sauna and work out in the fitness center free of charge. Keep in mind that the gym is small and only has a few cardio machines and free weights. There's little in the way of communal areas, but the hotel has a decked rooftop terrace which is a nice quiet place to catch some sun in the summer months. Other facilities include a computer station with Mac computers, coin-operated laundry facilities, modern meeting rooms, and underground parking for a fee. The front desk is open around the clock, and there are bike rental services on-site. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.
