Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort

This is a family-friendly property with a safe surrounding area that's best suited to tourists and business travelers. The towering 12-story beige building offers remarkable views of Disneyland Park from higher floors. There are palm trees out front for a California touch, and the grounds have a tropical vibe thanks to pathways lined with fruit and palm trees. The hotel is clean and well kept and features a spacious lobby decorated in a classic style typical of the Sheraton chain. Dark wood and large overhead light fixtures feel elegant while some of the earth-tone sofas and armchairs look like they could use an update. There are a few desktop computers set aside in a business center nook for guests. The outdoor lounge is a relaxing spot to unwind in the evenings, along with the lobby bar that features cream-leather barstools and a flat-screen TV. 

The hotel is conveniently located for families visiting Disneyland park and business travelers who want fast access to Anaheim Convention Center, and is also surrounded by a handful of retail shops and restaurants. A Morton's The Steakhouse located next door to the hotel is open for dinner and has a bar with happy hour. Disneyland Park's entrance can be reached in 15 minutes on foot or about 10 minutes by car. A shuttle service to the park is available hourly for a small fee. Anaheim Convention Center is a two-minute drive from the hotel. Angel Stadium, where the baseball team plays, is less than 10 minutes' drive away, as is the Honda Center, which hosts live shows. The Long Beach Aquarium is about 40 minutes away by car. Long Beach Airport is a half-hour drive while LAX is 45 minutes by car. 

Rooms at the hotel are standard for the Sheraton chain. Each offers 370-square-feet of space and classic decor emphasizing grays and browns in carpeting, walls, and drapes. All rooms feature polished-wood work desks with leather office chairs. The Sheraton Signature Beds have white down comforters and face flat-screen HD TVs. All rooms sleep up to four people -- in two queen-size beds or in a king-size bed and sofa bed. 

Standard amenities include coffeemakers, mini-fridges, air-conditioning, and safes. There's a fee for Wi-Fi. Contemporary bathrooms feature textured wallpaper and shower/tub combos. Sinks and vanities with hairdryers are located outside the bathroom. Club Rooms are located on the top two floors of the hotel and have upgraded amenities and access to a Club Lounge with free breakfast and all-day snacks, plus free Wi-Fi. Suites have lounge access as well as extra space for families and four-poster beds. 

Some rooms have Disney Park views (for an extra fee) and all have private balconies.

Extensive breakfast options are available for a fee at the laid-back Park 55 Cafe, which also serves casual fare like burgers, salads, and pasta dishes for lunch and dinner. The marketplace inside the hotel sells grocery items and there's a hotel bar in the lobby. The outdoor pool is well-maintained and offers a spacious sun deck and a poolside bar with snacks and drinks. There's also a hot tub outside. The hotel's bright 24-hour fitness center has garden views and offers modern cardio, resistance, and weight-training equipment. The hotel is a partner property to Disneyland Park, and offers an exclusive Disney Desk where guests can purchase and print park tickets. Meetings and conferences of all sizes can be accommodated by the hotel's more than 28,000-square-feet of flexible indoor/outdoor event space, which includes a ballroom. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi costs extra throughout the hotel.
