From the hotel, the beach is about a 15-minute walk, which may be deemed too far for some. The hotel opened in 2002, and while the rooms have a dated look, the rest of the hotel -- from the restaurants to the outdoor pool deck -- is decidedly modern and has an unexpected stylish feel.
