It's not.

It’s not.

Alright: it has been established that Montego Bay has to be seen to be believed. That is, the photos on some Montego Bay hotels’ websites are not to be believed. *Ahem*

You see, we have learned to be distrustful of smiling gym-goers — nobody smiles at the gym unless there’s some shady photo faking-out going on — and so when we happened upon this photo of some grinning stationary-bikers giving each other the “eyes” at The Holiday Inn Resort in Montego Bay, we were a wee bit suspicious — and, as it turns out, for good reason.

While we can vouch for the existence of pretty views and gym equipment at this resort (it appears that the shot was taken in a yoga or pilates studio-ish space), we can also verify that the pretty views and gym equipment do not exist as one — because the cardio equipment is in a different room. Specifically, this room. And it’s yellow, which we assume is supposed to make you happy enough to forget about the fact that your expectations of ocean breezes and hot, confident and into-you dudes on cardio machines have been thwarted.
