Every season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians seems to require at least one drama-filled family vacay and last night’s episode brought viewers just that. The star-studded fam packed their bags and headed to the Dominican Republic — the destination of Kim’s choosing (go figure — after all, she is the one who put the fam on the map with her sex tape talent) — for some fun in the sun. Staying at the luxurious Casa De Campo, the Kardashians took full advantage of the resort’s many amenities: From the beach to the golf course to the gorgeous villa, no spot was safe from the posse’s drama. As Bruce and Kris pulled in to the resort, the former Olympic athlete explained to his momager wifey that Scott Disick had been getting under his skin (shocker). We then had to wait a good ten minutes with bated breath til Scott arrived — and we were rewarded with quite the awkward hello between the two!
The staff greeted the couple with tropical cocktails and a note for Kris that gave her a clue: “find the yellow octupus.” When she found the floatie bobbing in the pool, another note led her to the top of her villa — where Khloe was waiting. How cute?! She surprised her mom by crashing a luxurious, all-expensives-paid trip to the Caribbean! That girl is so thoughtful.
Golfing is a major draw at Casa De Campo, where the daringly named on-site golf course is easily one of the best courses in the Caribbean. Bruce hit the links for a little one-on-one instruction from a pro and decided he really liked the guy. So he figured he’d help out his soon-to-be-divorced step daughter and invited the pro to dinner for a little meet-cute. Once Kim heard the news she flipped out and forced Bruce to uninvite him. Bruce has got to catch up on his celeb gossip; hasn’t he heard about Kimye?!
While Rob relaxed at the villa, the rest of the gang went out on a boat ride for some family bonding and of course, cocktails. Afterwards, a slightly buzzed Kris hopped on a jet-ski with her favorite child Kim.
To top off the drama-filled episode, the family sat down to a private dinner to throw each other under the bus enjoy some quality time together. While Kris attempted to give Kourtney relationship advice, Kourtney responded with a zinger, exposing her mom’s decision to meet up with a former flame earlier in the week. This was news to Bruce and eventually the entire family left Kris to cry at the table alone (except for the camera crew, of course). Even we couldn’t help but feel just a little sorry for Kris; after all, she ended up ditching her ex-lover. Fortunately for us (and you!), next week’s episode will continue at the Casa De Campo with plenty of fun, sun, and fighting (and hopefully some making up too). The show airs Sunday nights on E! at 9 p.m.
