Rep. Aaron Schock (R-Ill.) is in hot water over a $10,053 taxpayer-funded trip he took with at least 10 House staffers last September. While Schock did attend several events with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, apparently not much official government work got done, and he was the only Illinois lawmaker who brought along staff members, and stayed at the luxurious New York Palace. Other expenses included $3,000 on concert tickets, and $1,272.84 at Jean-Georges's Mercer Kitchen at the Mercer Hotel.
