In just four days, the once out, now most definitely in, Flatiron/NoMad neighborhood of New York City will be welcoming yet another chic boutique hotel: this time, it being the New York EDITION. A collaboration between Marriott Hotels and famed hotelier Ian Schrager, the EDITION chain is known for sleek properties in Istanbul, London, and Miami (with many more on the way) and the New York outpost seems like it will most certainly live up to the high-end brand's luxe reputation. Housed in the iconic MetLife Clock Tower overlooking Madison Square Park (hello, Shake Shack!), the 273-room hotel will be home to a massive gym and spa, as well as an as-of-yet-unnamed restaurant. Room rates for May 11, the opening night, range from $500 to $1,200.
