Generally, just the mention of the word "airport" causes people to shudder; long layovers, bad food, and disgruntled workers can make for a less-than-enjoyable scene. But, as we pointed out several months ago, some airports have been working on improving their reputations and JFK is one of those at the forefront of this movement. It's scheduled for a total redesign, and we just learned that the new plans call for...a pet terminal.

That’s right; known as The Ark, the 178,000-square-foot facility will include some pretty lavish digs, not only for Fido and Mittens, but also for larger zoo animals and traveling livestock as well. Along with private spaces for penguins, 70 horse stalls, and a Cat Adventure Jungle, The Ark will be home to dog-friendly suites complete with human-sized beds, flat-screen TVs, and framed photos picked out by the “guests.” See, we told you that you just might want to get stuck here!

What do you think? Would you pay $100/night for your pet to stay here or do you think it’s ridiculous? Let us know!
