Ay Dios mio! Our friend Dora the Explorer looks a little incapacitated after a day at the kid's club at the Azul Sensatori Hotel. The Puerto Morelos resort offers plenty of amenities to keep little ones occupied, but we have a feeling that seeing their beloved bilingual traveler minus a foot might send them running back to their parents. We're just hoping her friend in the stripes can put an end to the madness before Dora really gets hurt.

We admit that the underground spa at Grotto Bay Beach Resort in Bermuda is pretty cool, with its cave-like treatment cabanas that overlook turquoise waters. From the outside, however, the spa's unassuming demeanor could double as a set piece from The Lord of the Rings. But at least we know it's not the portal into the Bermuda Triangle.

Happy Birthday, America! In honor of the Fourth of July and all things American, we went to one of our favorite Washington D.C.-area attractions, the National Museum of Health and Medicine. The museum has nearly 25 million oddities, including the largest collection of microscopes, fragments of Abraham Lincoln's skull, and this preserved case of cyclopia.

The Hacienda Antigua Bed and Breakfast is one of Albuquerque's most charming inns, thanks in large part to the handcrafted local art that adorns each room. The santos (Spanish for "saints") sculptures, which decorate the rooms, are particularly common in New Mexico. This rendering of St. Francis of Assisi adds to the hotel's historic voibe, even though he does kinda look like he just got back from Bonnaroo.

Part of the reason we love to travel is all the new creatures we get to meet along the way. Some we spot in the wild, while some we see just roaming around the hotel. But we especially love when the hotel brings the animals to us, like at the on-site zoo at the The Royal Suites Punta Mita by Palladium in Riviera Nayarit. The resort houses birds, crocodiles, and monkeys, including this adorable, wide-eyed gal who stopped by to say hello.

Florida can get pretty hot. With its insane humidity and intense sunlight, it's easy for tourists to get a little too toasty for comfort. While sweating through our daily workout in the (thankfully) air-conditioned fitness center at the Holiday Inn Express Pensacola Beach, we noticed this overheated couple looking a little lost. We're not sure what they were searching for out there in the Gulf of Mexico, but we hope they don't get too dehydrated before they find it!

Myrtle Beach sees its share of partiers each year, and these gal pals are no exception. The South Carolina hot-spot boasts 60 miles of beach, and nearly that much in bar space. Because of its long-standing (or rather, passing out), late-night partying reputation, we were surprised to see these vacationers awake during daylight hours. So this week we're raising our glass to this spirited duo, who keeps the party going with a few mid-day cocktails at the Tiki Bar of the Sea Watch Resort. It's five o'clock somewhere!

There's nothing we love more than a hotel with a good sense of humor. That's why the quirky decor at The Morgan -- situated in Dublin's cultural Temple Bar quarter -- appeals to our eyes and our funny bones. Naughty Mona Lisa elevators may not bode well with all visitors, but she's still a classic in our eyes.

Honolulu's Outrigger Reef on the Beach has a ton of amazing features: comfy lounge chairs, a super-chill spa, and activities that get visitors in touch with Hawaiian culture, like Aloha Fridays. While the Oahu gem delivers a dose of knowledge on the state's history, we couldn't help but wonder if Aloha Fridays had guests to do a special song and dance. A familiar song and dance...

Things can get pretty heated at the popular Mikado restaurant at the Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica, but getting a front-row seat to the meal prep is half the fun. Chefs at this sushi and teppanyaki joint even let diners try their hands at the grill, and these little ones didn't pass up the chance. Poor little Jimmy below, however, may not have been as willing to get into the line of fire as some of his friends were. The Peabody, with locations in Orlando, Little Rock, and Memphis, hold twice-daily Duck Marches, where the hotel's resident birds make their way to lobby fountain in the morning, and then back to their "Royal Duck Palace" in the evening. The charming tradition, which started as drunken joke by Tennessee hunters in the 1860's, draw guests to the lobby's red carpet, making these pampered ducks just as synonymous with The Peabody as Elvis is Vegas.

Friendly hotel service is key to having a good stay, but sometimes the staff is just phoning it in. Though the workers at the front desk of the Villa Del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa are not necessarily writing off your constant room service requests, its hard to tell whether or not they're just mugging for the cameras.

We've be dreaming about our time in Botswana ever since we left the safari paradise -- not only was wildlife spotting an awesome experience, but the &Beyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp proved to have some seriously luxe digs to offer, too. Glamping (a.k.a. a luxury experience in an outdoorsy, camp-inspired setting) has become a seriously popular travel pastime, so we visited Botswana for the ultimate in the experience. Located in the remote Okavango Delta, the "resort" offers spacious tents with plush beds, food that's rather divine, and all the wildlife you could possibly dream of seeing in a safari setting. But this photo tickled us quite a bit. Had us bellyachin', if you will. Check out what we had to say after the jump, then enter your own caption in the comments section below!
