Adina Apartment interiors have an understated elegance, and the lobby spaces features chic contemporary stylings, clean architectural lines, and a plush lounge area. Curve Cafe features a more bright and fun decor, with whitewashed wooden walls and splashes of reds and yellows highlighted in the furnishings and Aboriginal Australian artworks. It also includes an alfresco dining area with parkland views. The outdoor swimming pool is definitely one of the main highlights, and is often buzzing with guests enjoying drinks from the poolside bar and keeping cool from Darwin's intense tropical heat, though it's a bit shaded for sunbathing and can get crowded at times. The hotel appeals to a mixed crowd of young professionals, families, and couples.

The hotel is conveniently located at the Darwin Waterfront Precinct, within a 10-minute walk north of the city center and most popular downtown attractions. The sprawling Waterfront area includes a large convention center and a range of leisure attractions on offer. The main features include a mechanical wave pool, a manmade beach, and a scenic seafront promenade lined with designer boutiques, trendy restaurants, and bars. Other popular offerings in the area include the Stokes Hill Wharf and Deckchair Cinema, both reachable within a 10-minute walk. Downtown attractions like Crocosaurus Cove reptile park, BCC Cinemas, and Smith Street's dining and nightlife scene take around 15 minutes to reach on foot. Darwin Interchange bus station is a five-minute walk away and Darwin International Airport is a 25-minute car ride. Mary River National Park is around an hour's drive from the hotel. Both Kakadu and Litchfield National Park are two hours away.

Apartments at Adina Hotel are clean and minimalist, outfitted with kitchenettes and comfy furniture. Premier 1 Bedrooms have full kitchens, washers/dryers, and separate lounge areas. Only a limited number of rooms have balconies, though all include large windows which let in plenty of natural light and airflow. Interiors have a contemporary look, with white walls, neutral-toned brown carpeting and accents, and modern furnishings. While the brightly colored throw pillows and paintings do add some nice splashes of color, overall the spaces lacks personality and flair. Furnishings include king, queen, or twin beds, comfy upholstered couches, work desks and chairs, and small wardrobes. Rooms are outfitted with air-conditioning, small flat-screen TVs, safes, telephones, iPod docks, coffee- and tea-making facilities, mini-fridges, plus irons and ironing boards. Premier Studio Rooms have tiny kitchenettes, which aren't really useable for more than just heating up food and washing up, since they only have a microwave, washing sink, and tableware. Premier 1 Bedrooms however (highest-tier) have fully equipped kitchens which include stovetop burners, full-size refrigerators, and more counter space. Bathrooms are streamlined, but not cramped, with a color palette of whites and light browns. Spaces include large vanities with sunken washbasins and large mirrors, shower/tub combos, hairdryers, and toiletries. Some guests do complain about noise from nearby nightlife spots, and weekends can be especially noisy in the area.

Adina Darwin is a well appointed hotel with a balance of leisure and business facilities. A highlight is the hotel’s long outdoor swimming pool, which is lined with lots of lounge chairs and a poolside bar serving drinks and light bites. Adjacent to the pool is the Curve Cafe Bar, a relaxed all-day dining venue. The restaurant serves Western classics, as well as Northern Territory inspired dishes, plus a daily buffet breakfast spread (for a fee). Business facilities include three  meeting rooms and a small business center with a handful of desktop computers (charged by the hour). A small gym and self-service laundry are also included. Wi-Fi is free throughout, but numerous past guests have complained about the unreliable connection. On-site parking is available for a fee.
