Bottom Line

Bali Rich Luxury Villa is a mid-range boutique located on a small side street off the bustling Sunset Road Highway, around a 15-minute walk from downtown Seminyak. The 15-unit property features One- and Two-Bedroom Villa compounds, which have an open plan design, plenty of space, private plunge pools, living rooms, and useable kitchens. Interiors are minimalist, and standard amenities include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and full-size refrigerators. Facilities are limited to a spa, a small restaurant and bar, and an event room. The hotel is more affordably priced than many villa properties downtown, though the location isn't ideal and some elements are a bit dated. As an alternative hotel, the Aria Exclusive Villas and Spa in downtown Petitenget feature modern, elegantly styled one-bedroom pool villas -- but rates are higher.

There are no common areas besides the restaurant and the lobby area and the hotel doesn't features any grounds or views. Location

Near the bustling Sunset Highway, a 10-minute drive from downtown Seminyak and 15 minutes from the beach

Bali Rich Luxury Villa is located on a busy side street off of the bustling Sunset Road Highway, around a 15-minute walk from downtown Seminyak. The location isn't ideal, as you have to cross over the congested highway to reach the nearest happening locales and dining options. The hotel's immediate area is mainly residential, though there are a few small restaurants and the Sunset Point Shopping Mall, which has convenience stores and fast food restaurants. Seminyak's Eat Street or Kayu Aya Street is around a 15-minute walk or 10-minute drive from the hotel, and is one of the island's trendiest and most happening neighborhoods. The street is packed with authentic restaurants, hip cafes, boutique shops, and a sophisticated nightlife scene. Seminyak Beach takes around 15 minutes to reach by car from the hotel. This long white-sand beach is a bit more laidback than neighboring Kuta Beach and is great for surfing, swimming, or just lounging. The waves are well suited to novice surfers as they break over a soft sand bottom. There are lots of vendors offering surf lessons and board rentals along the beach. Popular oceanfront bars and restaurants line this stretch of coast. Look for relaxed fine dining at Chez Gado Gado, Cocoon Beach Club, and the boho chic La Plancha Beach Bar. Kuta Beach, Waterbom Bali, and the airport all take around 25 minutes to reach from the hotel, depending on traffic.
