Berry Glee Hotel

With its uniquely themed guest suites and colorful open-plan common spaces, the Berry Glee Hotel stands out among other hotels for its unforgettable design. The lobby features high ceilings, natural light, and open space -- allowing a breeze to pass through. Mostly white decor showcases unusual shapes and bursts of bright color for a pop art feel. In the soaring glass-enclosed atrium, a footbridge overlooks the indoor pool and offers views of the building's modern architecture. The hotel might feel a little too youthful for some guests, though, with its ice cream coolers, erratic color scheme, and wall murals with messages like "get your glee on." It's a lot to take in, but it's certainly not boring. This property is best for younger tourists and families who want a modern design property in the city of Kuta, without too high of a price tag. 

This property is situated on a bustling road in Kuta and is busy with scooters day and night. Crowds are to be expected in this city, however. While access to the hotel is quite straightforward, traffic can be really bad at certain times. There's a shopping mall next to the property and many restaurants, shops, and grocery stores line the street. The Legian tourist area, which offers bars and nightlife, is a six-minute drive away. The hotel's location is not very convenient to the beach -- Kuta Beach is a seven-minute drive and the Legian Beach is a 13-minute drive. Seminyak, a quieter area with beach clubs and excellent restaurants such as KuDeTa, is an eight-minute drive away. Guests should rent motorbikes or take cabs to get around. The property also provides a free area shuttle service. Ngurah Rai International Airport is a 10- to 15-minute drive away and the hotel can arrange shuttle service for a fee. 

Rooms and suites at the Berry Glee Hotel are decorated in several different styles, some based on fun themes. Much like the public spaces, rooms feature modern, bright white decor accented with neon-violet lighting and playful painted murals behind beds. There are also large windows, good-size closets, and long counters with desk space. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, safes, 32-inch flat-screen TVs, minibars, coffee-and-tea-making facilities, and free bottled water. Bathrooms are done in a similar color scheme and have frosted glass doors, showers, and toiletries. Junior Suites add bathtubs, living areas, and are on floors with themes such as Wonderland and Music. Family Rooms with bunk beds, and Master Suites with living and dining areas are available. Some guests might not feel comfortable with the glass-enclosed bathrooms. While the property is located in a crowded area, there are no notable noises inside. 

Features here are focused on families and fun. The Berry Glee Hotel has a striking pool in a space with high ceilings and a transparent roof. Colorful loungers line the pool deck, and there are nice touches like indoor trees and a kiddy pool area with toys and a slide. However, the space lacks sunlight. A casual restaurant/bar serving burgers, a karaoke lounge, and a poolside bar are available. Buffet breakfast is served daily (for a fee) and there are billiards tables in the restaurant. There's a guest computer with Wi-Fi in the lobby as well as a business center. A colorful kids' club with lots of toys and an indoor playground with a tube slide are also available for families. On-site parking is free. The hotel does not have a gym or spa.
