Guests are greeted in a sunny lobby furnished with cheery orange seating. An ice water dispenser and a table of newspapers are thoughtful touches. Decor here is a bit dated, but interiors are clean, bright, and pleasant. Colorful couches line the hallways, while the cafe is a sunny space clad in soft neutral hues and playful accents like Edison bulbs suspended from the ceiling and brightly-colored glass bottles and other knickknacks displayed in cubed shelving units. Overall, it's a solid choice for those seeking convenience and proximity to shopping, dining, and entertainment -- and contrary to its lively location, it manages to be quiet. Mainly attracting leisure tourists, it's a solid choice for both couples and families with kids  -- and families or groups are particularly attracted by the spacious multi-bedroom apartments.

The hotel is situated right in Seminyak Square, a complex full of shopping and dining options, plus there are outdoor markets. The surrounding area teems with shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars, making this a prime location for those seeking convenience. The beach is a five-minute walk from the property, while other popular area beaches like Double Six Beach, Legian Beach, and Seminyak Beach are a 10- to 15-minute drive from the hotel. Other area attractions, such as Waterbom Bali, the Bali Blast Monument, and Discovery Shopping Mall, can be reached in about 20 minutes via car. Ngurah Rai International Airport is about a 25- to 30-minute drive from the hotel.

It does have a couple of extras that add value to a stay here, the highlight of which is the lovely rooftop pool that's surrounded by a wooden sundeck lined with chic white loungers and umbrellas. The hotel also has a pleasant cafe that serves Western fare, including continental and Indonesian food for breakfast (available for a fee), though past guests have remarked that it's mediocre. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.
