The Haven Bali Seminyak

A lively and upbeat vibe emanates throughout the clean, well-maintained Haven Seminyak Hotel & Suites. A gorgeous step fountain with green glass bowls decorates the entrance, and there's a modern open-air lobby with light-wood furniture. Sabeen Restaurant has large windows, gray concrete floors, brown wicker chairs, and high ceilings. Al fresco seating is available next to a large pond with a lovely fountain feature. Wood tones and neutrals are abundant at Atma Spa, which has a contemporary atmosphere. 

The Haven Seminyak Hotel & Suites is centrally located in Seminyak, a 10-minute walk from Double Six Beach and a Bintang Supermarket. Legian Beach, restaurants, and shops are a 15-minute walk from the hotel while Seminyak Beach and the Kuta Galeria Shopping Arcade are a five-minute drive. Seminyak Square, Kuta Beach, and the Bali Blast Monument are a 10-minute drive away, while Waterbom Park and Discovery Shopping Mall are 15 minutes away. Ngurah Rai International Airport is a 20-minute drive from the hotel.

Several different room options are offered at the Haven, from stylish Traditional Rooms to private, modern Villas. All units are air-conditioned and have light concrete floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, white walls and sheets, and light-wood furniture. Amenities include coffeemakers, minibars, bathrobes, slippers, and wall-mounted flat-screen TVs. Note that some rooms get street noise. Bathrooms are contemporary, with white countertops and sinks and wood accents on the walls and vanities. Brown, metal-like tiles cover the walk-in shower areas, which features rainfall showerheads and frosted glass doors. Some rooms also have large soaking tubs and double sinks.

One- and Two-Bedroom Suites have kitchenettes with full-size refrigerators, pantries, and balconies with seating. Large Villas have high ceilings, butler service, outdoor kitchens, and private pools. Minibar items in the Suites and Villas are free.  

The hotel has two stunning outdoor pools, both of which are shrouded in lovely greenery. One is covered in blue tile with a wood deck and neutral lounge chairs while the other is a blue-tile infinity pool with large trees, vines, and dark wood. Pan-Asian cuisine is served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the on-site restaurant/bar -- Sabeen -- and there is a barbecue every Friday night with pork ribs, sirloin, salmon, and lamb. Food and drinks receive good reviews.

Atma Spa offers body treatments, facials, massages, and mani/pedis. The fitness center has cardio equipment and free weights, and free yoga and Pilates classes are offered regularly. Other features include a business center with a computer and a free shuttle to Seminyak Beach, where there's a Beach Club with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a full bathroom. 

Guests who have checked out but still have time to kill before an evening flight can stay on-site to use the facilities at the Havener Club Lounge, which has flat-screen TVs, a computer station, snacks, and drinks. Airport transportation can be arranged for a fee.
