This modern property is fairly typical for the ibis chain, which is known for fresh style and simple extras at a reasonable price. The lobby is open and bright, with a long black-and-white reception desk and a tour desk opposite. A long black banquette along one wall, plus groupings of red and black chairs, provide places for guests to hang out. The restaurant and bar are adjacent, and guests also can gather on the terrace when the weather is nice. With its convenient location and relatively low rates, this hotel draws both business and leisure travelers, especially shoppers. Most spend their day out and about rather than hang out in the hotel.

This hotel is situated in a crowded, traffic-clogged, somewhat anonymous part of Sathorn, though it's relatively convenient to the city's main outdoor space, Lumpini Park. That's also where you'll find the closest MRT station, and both are around a 10-minute walk away. Otherwise, hailing a cab will be a challenge at most times of the day. The hotel runs a free shuttle to the MRT station. Patpong Night Market can be reached in 30 minutes on foot or on public transportation, and the Suan-Lum Night Bazaar is just 15 minutes away on foot. Business travelers can reach the Queen Sirikit Convention Center in 10 minutes by car. The malls around Siam Square are around 35 minutes away by MRT and skytrain, while Chatuchak Weekend Market takes a little under an hour to reach by MRT. Budget at least an hour to reach either Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang International Airports, though traffic is awful in Bangkok and you may want to add a bit more time to your travel plans.

There is little difference between any rooms here, though bed configurations are either one double or two twins. The style across all rooms is modern and simple, with clean-lined light and dark wood furniture, unadorned white bed coverings, wood-laminate floors, and mocha-colored accent walls. Oversized black-and-white photos hang on the walls. Amenities include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, desks with chairs, kettles for tea and coffee, mini-fridges, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are tiny, but clean and functional, with walk-in showers, basic toiletries, and hairdryers.

Like all ibis properties, there are few extras here. A breakfast buffet is served daily (for a fee) in a bright, sunny space with floor-to-ceiling windows providing lots of natural light. Guests also can sit out on the terrace overlooking the street. Three meeting rooms can accommodate up to 72 people for leisure or business gatherings. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property, and on-site parking is also free. Pets are allowed at no charge.
