The heart and soul of this bed and breakfast is its owner -- Maria Ketty -- who has been running the Bologna nel Cuore for over a decade. Not just responsible for overlooking the renovations and decor of this charming, orange-stucco building, Maria also provides each guest with a warm welcome and attentive, personal hospitality throughout their stay (while also ensuring guests utmost privacy). The bed-and-breakfast comprises of two double rooms situated on the second floor and two small self-contained apartments, one on the ground floor and the other the first level. Interior design is also largely influenced by Maria, and is an elegant and homey blend of contemporary pieces with antique family furnishings, all very nicely finished and impeccably maintained. The atmosphere is peaceful and polished.
