Stepping into this excessively designed hotel is certainly a feast for the eyes. With bright, popping colors, curved walls, and avant-garde artwork at every turn, guests will be continually fascinated by the pure creativity that is put into every detail. From the second guests walk through the lime-green glass front doors and are greeted by the reflective bean-shaped front desk and vivid abstract mural walls, it's obvious this isn't an average hotel. The fun continues in the upstairs hallways, which are lined with bold, graphic patterned carpets that are color coded by floor. The scene is very chic, fun, and sexy with a high energy permeating through the air.

Myhotel Brighton is located on a quiet street, but within walking distance of some of Brighton's best and most famous attractions, such as the Brighton Pier and Wheel -- 10 minutes away on foot. There's also the Theater Royal Brighton, the Royal Pavilion, and the Victoria Gardens, all of which are less than a five-minute walk. The nearest train station is a seven-minute walk from the hotel, and it's a little more an hour's train ride to London. Gatwick Airport is also about 45-minutes away by train. For guests who are driving, the hotel is right by the A23 and A27. Expect to pay a daily rate for parking in a garage under the hotel.

Rooms and suites at Myhotel Brighton continue the colorful and vibrant theme found in the public spaces. Each room is uniquely decorated and arranged according to the principles of feng shui. Mandala artwork, flat-screen TVs, safes, comfortable beds, and in-room coffee and tea are just some of the attributes that make these rooms so special.

Standard Rooms are smallest, but still clean and comfortable. Bright punchy colors and mesmerizing patterns are balanced with all-white furniture to create a futuristic, mod vibe. The bathrooms look like pods, with curved walls, cut-out holes looking into the bedroom, and sleek appliances. The toilets in most of the bathrooms are only separated by a frosted glass door, so there isn't much privacy.

The more deluxe rooms, such as Heaven and Bamboo, are a tranquil escape from the kaleidoscope colors in the rest of the hotel. With subdued pale walls, murals of lotus flowers, and white furniture, these rooms provide guests with a calming atmosphere.

The Carousel Room is by far the most luxe and glamorous in the hotel, with a darker, more sophisticated tone. Rust-colored walls, rich leather couches, and a lambskin rug next to the standalone tub create a luxurious atmosphere. And to stay true to the hotel's sense of whimsy, a 300-year old carousel horse is mounted between the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Another option for rooms at the hotel is the Chapel Townhouse, which is actually located in a townhouse around the corner. As guests walk up the silver-walled winding staircase, and pass the small table set with coffee and tea, they enter into a high-ceilinged room that can only be described as darkly romantic. The gray walls and black-and-silver decor have a modern, yet gothic vibe. Details like leather-tufted walls, a silver tub, teapots hanging from the wall, and a Lego chandelier all are reminiscent of a scene straight out of "Alice in Wonderland."

Located in the lobby is the chic Merkaba Bar. With its curved, textured walls, buttery leather seats, and fun photo booth, it's a swanky, sleek place to grab a pre-dinner or evening cocktail. There are no actual restaurants within the actual hotel, but attached to the building is the eccentric Chilli Pickle. With its white-and-pink painted cow sitting outside and bold, colored walls, this award-winning Indian curry restaurant is an apt partner for the Myhotel. Also partnered with the hotel is The Small Batch Coffee Company, a fair-trade coffee shop where guests can fuel up on caffeine. For those traveling on business, the hotel offers two modern, fully equipped meeting rooms. While still possessing the artistic attributes of the rest of the hotel, the meeting rooms are more subdued though still modern and fun.
