Located in a rundown neighborhood, this mid-range hotel features rooms that are spacious and offer flat-screen TVs, but lack basic amenities, such as coffeemakers or microwaves in the kitchenettes. The cramped bathrooms and terrible views are big drawbacks. Families traveling on a budget may enjoy the layout of Quadruple rooms, which have plenty of space and twin beds for children, but the location in Congreso might be better suited to business travelers.

Congreso is somewhat run-down and sketchy (especially at night), and isn't as popular with non-business visitors as the trendy Palmero or Retiro areas. An increased police presence in the area is starting to turn the area around, and more businesses and hotels are opening as a result, but there's still a long way to go.
