There are plenty of comfortable spots to socialize or curl up by a roaring fire with the day’s newspaper. A TV mounted over the fireplace is a popular spot for watching movies from a cluster of upholstered couches and armchairs. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby all day, and in the afternoons, there are cookies at the front desk for the taking. Even the fitness center is sunny and cheerful, with large photographs of local sporting events hung for inspiration. Nothing about this Courtyard feels like a chain; rather, it reflects the vibe and sensibility of its crisp and picturesque surroundings and draws couples, families, and business travelers in droves.

The Courtyard by Marriott Burlington Harbor is located in Burlington Town Center, between Lake Champlain and the Church Street Marketplace. There is plenty to do within walking distance, including a variety of shops and restaurants. Waterfront Park, the Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center, Battery Park, and the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception are all within a 10-minute walk. There are spas and lake beaches nearby, as well as golf courses, including Kwiniaska and Rocky Ridge, both of which are about a 20-minute drive from the hotel. Runners and walkers can take advantage of the park located across the street. Allow about 20 minutes to drive to Burlington International Airport.

The 161 rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Burlington Harbor are bright, spacious, and clean, with stylish decor that continues the local charms of the hotel's public spaces. Beds have good-looking cherry headboards in front of birch-inspired wallpapered accent walls and striking photographs of Lake Champlain and surrounding landscapes pop against the gray and white palette. Rooms are available in a variety of configurations, though the look is the same across the board, and each room comes with a large desk and ergonomic desk chair. Bathrooms are big and modern, with shower/tub combos, marble floors and granite vanities with plenty of counter space, plus toiletries. King suites come with separate soaking tubs and walk-in showers, and Spa King Rooms have high-end whirlpool tubs with windows that look onto bedrooms.
