Hotel Miramare Stabia

The upper-middle-range Hotel Miaramare Stabia occupies a cream-colored building on a slightly rundown street, overlooking the Gulf of Naples. The lobby is bright and cheery, with large windows and recessed lighting plus off-white walls with bright colorful nautical artwork, shelving units with china in hues of gold, blue and white, and a few tall pots with decorative twisting driftwood branches. There's a bar off to one side, and the lobby extends out to a lovely gulf-facing deck, accessible via glass floor-to-ceiling doors. The hotel attracts tourists, notably couples, though meeting- and wedding-planning services are available. Small pets are welcome with advanced arrangements. 

Hotel Miramare Stabia is located right on the waterfront of Castellammare di Stabia, overlooking the Gulf of Naples. It's a five-minute walk from the railway station and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The Circumvesuviana railway station in the center of town links to nearby points of interest, including Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, and Herculaneum. Amalfi and Positano are an hour away by car. Getting to Vietri sul Mare takes around 30 minutes. It’s about 45 minutes to Naples International Airport. 

This hotel offers three categories of rooms: 17-square-meter (183-square-foot) Classic Rooms (with partial sea views), 30-square-meter (323-square-foot) Superiors (with front-facing sea views), and 60-square-meter (646-square-foot) Junior Suites (also with sea views). All have balconies and some have gorgeous views. All units come equipped with minibars, safes, flat-screen TVs, coffee- and tea-making facilities, and free Wi-Fi. Beds in Classic Rooms are smaller, around double-size, while the other categories feature two twin-size beds pushed together. Classic and Superior Rooms have nearly identical decor, with white walls and off-white floors, simple blue bedspreads paired with blue art pieces with accents of yellow or orange, and plain white furniture. Junior Suites are more stylish, with a similar aesthetic but two-toned bedspreads and plush leather-finish white sofas accented by large accent wall murals. All categories are bright, with balconies fronted with heavy blackout curtains and a mix of lamps and recessed lighting. Classic Rooms have compact bathrooms with small vanity areas, bidets, and walk-in showers. Basic toiletries and hairdryers are provided. Superior bathrooms are a bit larger, with shower/tub combos, while Junior Suites feature small walk-in showers and huge, separate whirlpool tubs. 

The most attractive feature is the hotel's sea-facing pool deck, which features a lovely lap pool with a hydromassage feature, a few lounge chairs, and a sun bed, plus a couple of outdoor showers for rinsing off. There's also a poolside bar, Puesta Del Sol, with snacks and drinks. Nettuno offers Mediterranean fare at lunch and dinner, plus a great continental breakfast spread with pastries, fruits, and yogurts, served daily and included in room rates. Room service is also available. The hotel also has a bar, Il Riccio, with indoor and outdoor seating and snacks and cocktails. Wi-Fi is free across the hotel. Concierge services include tour bookings, car rentals, and airport transfers. There aren't any proper meeting spaces, though the hotel can arrange events and weddings poolside or in other common areas. There is a partner garage near the hotel, with parking available for an extra fee.
