Stepping inside, visitors are met with a vibrant and typically Mexican color scheme as well as potted agave plants, colorful Mexican art pieces, and colonial-style gilt-framed mirrors. The scene is unpretentious and the property has a typical Cancun resort layout, with tiered modern architecture and an extensive pool terrace leading to a palm-fringed, white-sand beach that's far from Cancun's nicest. As a budget-friendly, all-inclusive option popular with families with small kids -- as well as Spring Breakers -- the atmosphere can get lively, so it's not ideal for romancing couples looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation.
