Tahiti Playa Hotel

The pool here is large, with a wooden crossover bridge and a fountain, and the pool area offers a whirlpool, a children’s pool with a mushroom fountain, and beautiful views of the sea. A few feet from the pool is a long, sandy beach with lounge chairs. The hotel organizes daily activities, including water aerobics, football, and dancing lessons. In the evenings, live performances are held, such as magic and variety shows. For the children, there’s a mini-club that organizes games and activities in an indoor space with lots of books and games. A small outdoor play area sits next to the pool with a slide and seesaw, and a giant whimsical blue dinosaur with a slide for a tail and green frog with a slide for a tongue lives on the lawn.

The hotel is located on the long, sandy beach in Santa Susanna, a coastal resort town between Malgrat de Mar and Pineda de Mar, near Montenegre-Corredor National Park. It's in an area with several hotels, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. The airport in Girona is about a half-hour drive, and Barcelona’s airport is about an hour's drive. There's also a train that connects Santa Susanna and Barcelona.

Rooms are bright and modern, with tasteful decor, including crisp blue-and-white striped bedding and parquet wooden flooring. Colorful Tahitian-themed pictures and floral curtains add some Polynesian flair. Rooms have flat-screen TVs and balconies furnished with white, plastic furniture. Bathrooms have floral wallpaper, makeup mirrors, and shower/tub combinations. Family rooms are available with mini-bars, glass shower stalls, and separate whirlpool tubs. Mini-fridges and safety deposit boxes are not included in standard room rate.
