Bottom Line

The upper-middle-range Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront, with 295 rooms, offers a family-friendly and business retreat directly on the shore. This property has a number of appealing amenities, including a heated pool with a kids' splash pad, poolside cocktails and dining, and a gym. There is also a business corner and meeting rooms on-site. Contemporary, stylish guests rooms have flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and some have ocean views; suites offer wet bars. There are, however, pesky fees for beach chairs, breakfast, parking, and Wi-Fi. As an alternative, value hotels like the La Quinta Inn & Suites Cocoa Beach Oceanfront offer free perks, including Wi-Fi.

Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront

Scene

Upper-middle-range chain hotel on Cocoa Beach

On the sands of Cocoa Beach, the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront is a modern chain hotel with seven floors of tinted glass windows that give the property the look of a corporate building. The location, with a private wooden walkway that leads to the beach, draws mostly families and couples, but also business travelers since it’s in close proximity to the Kennedy Space Center. Interior designs are sleek and simple, including the hallways that feature striped ombre carpeting and three modern elevators. Sleek furniture fills the lobby that is brightened up by tropical floral arrangements, beachy artwork, and windows that surround the glass door entrance. Mod high-back chairs are arranged in front of two flat-screen TVs. Overall the atmosphere is relaxed and modern.
