Scene
A friendly, bright, and airy hotel with casual vibe and an airy but cozy lobby
The Resort on Cocoa Beach is a bright, casual hotel popular with vacationing families. It has an imposing white exterior and a much friendlier -- albeit gaudy -- lobby area. The front desk has a beach theme, with a grass roof and a hut-style design. Saltillo tile and potted plants cover the area, which is crowned with high wooden ceilings supported by arches and columns. A large stone fountain feature sits in the middle of the lobby with lots of plants and a tiki statue, and there are plenty of windows throughout the space that let in natural light.
