Best Western Plus 93 Park Hotel

For most travelers who've stayed here, this Best Western proves to be a pleasant surprise -- it's fresh, clean, and modern, and offers some extras you might not expect at a mid-range city hotel. The lobby is bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows across the front providing lots of natural light. Bright orange contemporary sofas sit in the corner, offering a place where guests can hang out. However, most visitors here find that the rooftop is the real treat -- as the bar offers pleasant city views and is a great place to unwind after a day in the busy capital. With its convenient location and reasonable rates, this Best Western attracts all sorts of travelers, including families, couples, groups, individuals, and businesspeople. 

This hotel is situated in the northern part of Bogota, in the El Chico neighborhood and just a block from 93 Park. This area is among the city's most popular dining, shopping, and entertainment districts. Multiple restaurants, boutiques, and bars are within walking distance of the hotel. The Salitre Magico amusement park and Bogota Botanical Garden can both be reached in 20 minutes by car, and the Gold Museum is about a 30-minute drive, or 45 minutes away by public transportation. Plan on about 30 minutes to reach El Dorado International Airport by car, depending on traffic. 

Rooms don't have a ton of individualized character, but for this chain (or any chain, really) they're pleasantly modern and fresh. Floors are done in wood-effect tiling, and walls are white, but orange or red accent pillows and bed runners add splashes of color. Clean-lined furniture has dark wood veneers that keep things up-to-date. Flat-screen TVs hang on the walls, but artwork is lacking in most entry-level rooms. Amenities in all rooms include air-conditioning, minibars, coffeemakers, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Basic bathrooms feature hairdryers, magnifying mirrors, toiletries, and tiled showers with rainfall showerheads. Suites add sitting areas with sofas and have a little more personality, with modern artwork on the walls. Some feature small dining tables and chairs, and certain units have furnished terraces. Though this is one of the city's most happening areas, the rooms stay relatively quiet. 

This hotel has a nice selection of features for both leisure and business guests. The Blue Ribbon restaurant serves international fare for all meals, including a free breakfast buffet with hot and cold selections. The setting is modern, with potted plants along one wall and an open sculpture serving as the adjacent wall. Large contemporary light fixtures hang overhead. There's also a bar with funky blue chairs and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to an open terrace with additional seating and nice views of the city. 

The fitness center is small, but it has wood floors and floor-to-ceiling windows providing lots of natural light. Equipment consists of cardio and weight-training machines plus free weights. A TV on the wall entertains, and water is provided. Spa services can be arranged. Keep in mind that there's no pool at the hotel. Five meeting rooms accommodate up to 200 people for business or social gatherings, and all get natural light. A business center provides computers and a printer for guests to use. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property, and on-site parking is also free.
