Omni Interlocken Hotel may be housed in a modern building, but the interiors have the mountain-theme decor that’s so prevalent in Colorado. The public spaces are spacious, especially in the stately lobby with its stone and tiled floors, atrium structure, and cozy sitting areas with plush red armchairs and leather couches. Trendy wooden coffee tables and paintings of cowboys wrangling steers are just a few of the mountain elements. There are a lot of cozy sitting areas on different levels of the hotel, even one that has a fireplace. Black-and-white photographs in hallways add a modern and chic element. There’s nothing particularly spectacular about the restaurant's decor of brown carpet and cherry wooden tables and chairs. The bar, however, has a fun pub atmosphere with dark wooden tables, chairs, and a bar counter, and games like pool and foosball to help guests relax and have a good time. With 40,000 square feet of meeting space, business travelers are the main clientele. However, families and couples make up a good majority of visitors thanks to kid-friendly amenities, a golf course, and resort-style pools. 

Omni Interlocken Hotel is in Broomfield, Colorado, a 16-minute drive from Boulder and a 30-minute drive from Denver. The property sits in the Interlocken Business Park, making it an ideal spot for business travelers in the area. There are restaurants and a mall that are a 23-minute walk or a seven-minute drive away. It takes 30 minutes by car to reach the Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge. Flatiron Vista is an 11-minute drive away. Denver International Airport takes 35 minutes to reach by car. 

The rooms at the Omni Interlocken Hotel are warm and sophisticated with patterned carpet, cream walls, fall colored accents, and wood furniture. Framed mountain-themed art pieces complete the decor. Suites are more luxurious in design with a blue-and-gold color scheme and finer fabrics. Though the rooms appear modern, some guests have complained about unclean rooms and dated furnishings. Standard amenities include flat-screen TVs, Keurig coffeemakers, air-conditioning, and Wi-Fi, which is free for Select Members (a program that’s free to sign up for), but would otherwise cost a fee. Some rooms have balconies. Stocked mini-fridges and microwaves can be requested, though some incur charges. The bathrooms are basic with earth-toned granite countertops and shower/tub combos; suites have jetted tubs. Toiletries and hairdryers are provided. 

Omni properties are known for their meeting services, but this particular property is just as appealing for its features available to leisure travelers. A 27-championship golf course attracts many visitors, as do two outdoor heated resort-style pools and a hot tub. The pool area is serviced by a pool bar and grill. Past guests have occasionally complained about pool cleanliness. There’s a lovely spa that offers massages, beauty treatments, and salon services, though it lacks some spa amenities like a sauna and steam room. The 24-hour fitness center is spacious and offers a variety of modern cardio and weight equipment, with windows overlooking the pool area. As for dining, the hotel has two casual American cuisine restaurants, Meritage and Fairways, with indoor and outdoor dining. Morsel’s is a cafe that offers snacks, coffee, and sandwiches. The Tap Room provides a pub-like atmosphere, pool, foosball, and craft beers. Breakfast costs extra. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

The 14 fully-equipped meeting rooms cover 40,000 square feet. Business travelers can use the business center and Wi-Fi, which is free for Select Members (it’s free to sign up for the program). Kid-friendly amenities include welcome bags and babysitting service. Self-parking is free, though valet costs a fee. Pets are welcome, but incur a charge.
