Grand Pequot Tower At Foxwoods

The Grand Pequot Tower is one of four hotels that make up the Foxwoods Resort and Casino (the second largest casino complex in North America), and it's one of the more upscale choices. At 23 stories tall, the hotel's common areas are especially grand, with elegant accents like inset ceilings, molded wall detailing, and large windows that let in lots of natural light. The lobby is spacious, with marble floors accented by turquoise carpeting and rich wood-paneled walls. The property attracts a good share of business travelers attending on-site conventions, but most guests are leisure travelers, including families with children.

Surrounded by forest, the Grand Pequot Tower is situated within the Foxwoods complex in the middle of the Mashantucket Pequot Indian Reservation. Of the upscale choices at Foxwood, the Grand Pequot is the most centrally located, offering easy access to restaurants, entertainment, and the main casino. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive to Mystic Seaport, the Mohegan Sun, and the New London Amtrak stop. For guests arriving by car, the hotel is about 20 minutes from I-95, and on-site valet parking is free. Many buses also stop at the casino. 

The 825 rooms at the Grand Pequot Tower range in size from standard Deluxe Rooms to Corner Suites measuring 1,400 square feet with separate rooms and hot tubs. But even the baseline rooms at Grand Pequot Tower are large, measuring 450 square feet, with either a king or two queen beds. Room decor is contemporary and tasteful, if somewhat generic, with a neutral color palette of gray and white accented by dark-brown furniture and an occasional pop of turquoise. Rooms include armchairs and desks, with irons, ironing boards, and safes housed in wardrobes. Coffeemakers, mini-fridges, 32-inch flat-screen TVs with video on-demand, and free Wi-Fi also come standard. Bathrooms, in neutral beige, are spacious as well, with roomy vanity areas, but they have shower/tub combos that give them a dated look. Hairdryers and individual toiletries are provided. Some of the higher-floor rooms have exceptional views of the surrounding forest, especially during fall's peak foliage season.

Guests can take advantage of all that Foxwood's Resort and Casino has to offer, including the six casinos, two golf courses, a two-story arcade, live-event venues with entertainment from comedian Sarah Silverman to Seal, restaurants, spas, and an attached Tanger Outlet shopping area.

The hotel has its own on-site features, too. There's a full fitness center, an indoor pool with two hot tubs and multiple padded loungers, a night club, and live event and conference space.The hotel's full-service spa offers facials and body treatments including couple's massages that are included in some romantic getaway packages. The property's four restaurants include two dinner establishments and two steakhouses that serve lunch and dinner. Breakfast is available at nearby venus, and room service is available, but hours are limited. A small business center has desktop computers and a printer, but these come with a fee. The Grand Pequot has a mandatory resort fee that covers fitness center and pool access, parking, and Wi-Fi, along with in-room coffee and tea.
