The hotel occupies a waterfront location across the street from the Øresund sound. There are plenty of dining options in the area, and the picturesque Nyhavn Canal, lined with more restaurants and bars, is just a three-minute walk away. Strøget, a popular pedestrian shopping street, is a 12-minute walk from the hotel. Several other tourist attractions can be reached on foot, including the Amalienborg Palace (12-minute walk), the Opera House (14-minute walk), Rosenborg Castle (22-minute walk), Tivoli Gardens (23-minute walk or 12 minutes via public transportation), and the Little Mermaid statue (25-minute walk). The closest metro station is Kongens Nytorv, is a nine-minute walk away, while the central train station is a seven-minute drive or about 20 minutes by public transit. Copenhagen Airport is around a 20-minute drive from here or 24 minutes by public transit.

The rooms are a bit small in size, especially the lower-category units, but all have some sort of seating in the form of armchairs or sofas (in higher-category rooms), plus all have work desks. Other standard amenities include flat-screen TVs, minibars, telephones, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Higher-category units add tea/coffee-making facilities, and some rooms have cute, small balconies furnished with chairs. Most bathrooms are small, however, and can feel a bit cramped. But they are clean and feature showers or shower/tub combos. Wall-mounted hairdryers and toiletries are provided. 

The hotel offers a limited amount of features, the main attraction is a breakfast buffet that's served in a pleasant dining room or can be delivered to rooms. The varied and hearty breakfast gets great reviews from guests and includes fresh breads, pastries, eggs, cheeses, meats, and fruit. It's available for an additional fee, and can also be included in room rates. Business travelers are catered to with a meeting room for up to 10 people. A computer and printer are available for guest use in the lobby, plus Wi-Fi is free throughout. Other amenities include laundry/dry cleaning services, as well as car and bike rentals.
