Set on a hill above Hersonissos bay, all the hotel’s 151 rooms have balconies, most with panoramic views, but the price for this pleasant setting is a fairly steep hike back up to the resort for guests who choose to visit the beaches below. There's a lovely saltwater pool and a restaurant which receives mixed reviews.

Semiramis Village hotel’s 151 traditional Cretan style rooms graded as twin, double, and triple are scattered across the hillside above Hersonissos Bay. All rooms have satellite TV, hairdryers, bathrooms with showers (that tend to flood), and balconies with sea, partial sea, or garden views. Rooms are clean and fairly comfortable with air-conditioning, mini-fridges, and safe boxes available at extra charge, but beds are hard and the no-frills fixtures and fittings are in urgent need of updating.
Guests with mobility issues should know that, although the hotel is built on three levels, the elevator in the main building only reaches the first floor, which can mean a long climb of up to 100 steps with luggage to reach top floor rooms. Rooms close to the parking lot and bar areas can be noisy in high season.
