The Bellmoor Inn and Spa

This hotel is best described as sophisticated with a lodge-like atmosphere. The three-story exterior is made up of red brick with gray siding. A brick patio is filled with plants, trees, and colorful flowers. As for the interior, wooden floors and antique couches and chairs clustered near a fireplace create a cozy vibe in the Jefferson Library, a room lined with books. Some pieces, like the floral Byzantine rug, some of the chairs, and hanging floral or beach-themed art, appear dated. The sun room has brick floors and large windows. Most guests are couples who can be seen using the spa services or the hot tub. 

Located in downtown Rehoboth Beach, the hotel is within walking distance to a lot of attractions. It’s only a nine-minute walk from the hotel to the beach, and a free beach shuttle is thoughtfully provided. Rehoboth Avenue, three minutes away on foot, is lined with a large variety of shops and restaurants, so guests don’t have to go far for entertainment. Tanger Outlet Rehoboth Beach has a huge selection of shops and is only a seven-minute drive away. Business travelers should note that the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center is a four-minute walk from the hotel. Plan on about a 40-minute drive to reach the Delaware Coastal Airport. 

Room types range from standard rooms, family suites, suites, cottages, and even apartment-style lodgings. The decor may vary slightly, but the style generally remains the same: antique wooden furniture and headboards, floral accents like curtains, bedding, rugs, plush chairs, and beach-themed art pieces. Though the rooms are homey, some of the furniture is quite dated. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, coffee/tea makers, and mini-fridges. Guests have noted the lack of a safe in rooms. Some of the suites come with balconies or patios, couches, and/or fireplaces. The Gardner’s Cottage has a full kitchen, while family rooms have separate sleeping areas for children and adults. The bathrooms appear more recently renovated as they have white or tan tiles, tub/shower combos, robes, and spacious counters. The Bellmoor Club Suites include an Ultra Thermo-Masseur hydrotherapy tub.

The hotel provides a variety of romantic features such as a hot tub and two pools, one of which, the Magnolia Pool, is exclusive to adults. The pleasant spa provides beauty treatments and massages. There's also a 24-hour fitness center with cardio and weight machines.

Family-friendly amenities include a free shuttle to the beach and a free breakfast with an omelet station, fresh fruit, and French toast. An afternoon tea with light snacks is offered for free. Camaraderie is encouraged with a library room filled with books, a sun room with chess-board tables, and an attractive outdoor garden with tables and chairs. 

For business travelers, a business center, meeting spaces, and free Wi-Fi is available. The hotel offers parking on-site, plus free electric charging stations for electric cars. Guests should note that parking is available for only one car per room and includes a daily charge.
