Bottom Line

A short drive from Denver International Airport, the mid-range Staybridge Suites are nothing luxurious, but they do have huge rooms with fully equipped kitchens, offering more than the basic comforts for an overnight visit or an extended stay. Features include free Wi-Fi access, an indoor pool, an airport shuttle, and a free breakfast buffet, but there's no on-site restaurant for lunch and dinner. Guests may want to compare rates at the nearby La Quinta Inn & Suites Denver Airport DIA, which offers many of the same amenities.

Staybridge Suites Denver International Airport

Scene

Clean, tidy airport hotel with dull decor and little character

Part of the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG), the Staybridge Suites are housed in a new, six-story brick building. It looks sterile from the street, but once inside there's a welcoming reception area with a large dry-stacked stone fireplace. On the opposite side of the fireplace, there's a breakfast lounge with several sets of cushioned hard-back chairs, a vaulted ceiling, and a wall-size window. The hotel is popular with transit guests needing to be close to the nearby airport as well as longer-term business travelers who are attracted by the fully furnished service apartment-style suites.

Location

Just off of Interstate 70, near the airport and other hotels

The Staybridge Suites are located off of Tower Road, in the cluster of hotels closest to Denver International Airport, a five-minute shuttle ride away. The area has a couple of restaurants within a 10-minute walk, namely Italian Dicicco and and a Village Inn. Downtown Denver is about a 30- to 45-minute drive from the hotel.

The property offers small but well-equipped conference rooms and there's a business center that resembles a small office, with a set of computers and lounge area.
