Belmore Court Motel

The Belmore Court and Motel comprises two buildings: the Belmore Court housed in a newer cream building flanked by a parking lot, and the adjacent Motel, which dates back to the ‘50s and consists of eight townhouses that have been converted into apartments. The interiors are clad in brown and cream hues accented by red details, such as the ruby stripes running along the coffee colored carpet throughout the hotel and red light fixtures in the lobby. The lobby decor is a bit generic and lackluster, with a wooden reception desk at the entrance, brown leather couch, brown tiled flooring, and an array of framed photographs on the cream walls, but functional and well lit by floor-to-ceiling windows. The color scheme extends to the breakfast room, where the neutral cafe and cream shades are injected with doses of cherry red. Velvety chairs in cream, mauve, and ruby hues surround wooden tables and a wall of windows overlooks the parking lot.

The Belmore Court and Motel is located on the edge of the town of Enniskillen in Northern Ireland on the corner of Dublin and Tempo Roads. There is a Tesco Superstore across the street and the Enniskillen Golf Club is nearby (a 12-minute walk). There are a couple of restaurants and fast food options within walking distance (five minutes away) as well as a shopping center (an eight-minute walk). The Enniskillen bus station is a 12-minute walk or three-minute drive from the hotel, as is the town square. The Enniskillen Castle is a little farther and a bit of a trek, but can be reached by car in five minutes. Also in the area is Castle Coole, an 18th-century National Trust mansion, which is a 20-minute drive.

There are a variety of rooms available at the Belmore Court and Motel suiting different budgets, which range from Superior and Executive Rooms at the Belmore Court, to one or two-bedroom apartments at the adjacent Motel. Rooms feature the same color scheme seen throughout the hotel: Neutral tones are coupled with crimson accents, such as bedspreads or curtain details. Light wooden furniture includes work desks, nightstands, and small round dining tables. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, coffee- and tea-making facilities, iPod docks, and electronic safes, but lack mini-fridges or minibars. Most of the motel units have kitchenettes, each equipped with a cooker with grill and hot plates, microwave, and cooking and dining ware. Family Apartments are also available, as well as a Family Suite with a separate kitchen and living room. Bathrooms are small and have either shower/tub combos or walk-in showers, with towels and toiletries provided.

Free continental breakfast is included in the room rate and served in the dining room at the Belmore Court and Motel. The hotel has three conference rooms that can accommodate up to 40 people, which are available with or without catering. There are computers and a printer available for guests’ use in the lobby. There is ample parking space available in the lot outside of the hotel and Wi-Fi is free throughout.
