Holiday Inn Express Frankfurt-Messe

The six-floor Holiday Inn Express Frankfurt-Messe is a standard chain hotel with modern interiors. The hotel offers two entrances, one on the street and another by the outdoor parking lot. The bright, clean lobby features a contemporary front desk and an adjacent lobby bar with blue recessed lighting and dark wood bar stools with white cushions. Near the bar is a bright breakfast room with green booths and seating near large street-facing windows; a free buffet-style continental breakfast is served here daily. Additional seating and tables are available in an adjacent dining room. There are two modern elevators in the hotel. Hallways are basic, with striped carpeting and cream walls that have a bare, stark feeling. The hotel caters primarily to business travelers, although there is a small area for kids. 

The hotel is in a convenient location for business travelers, within walking distance of restaurants and across the street from the Tanzhaus West Bar. The Chicago Meatpackers Riverside and Restaurant Druckwasserwerk are a 10-minute walk away. The Congress Center Messe Frankfurt is seven minutes away by car. Tourist attractions are also reasonably easy to reach from the hotel, including the Natural History Museum, a 10-minute drive away, and the Stadel Museum, half an hour from the hotel by public transport. The famous Zeil shopping street also takes around 10 minutes to reach by car. The Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (central station) is a 10-minute ride away on the 37 bus, which offers a stop directly outside the hotel. Frankfurt Airport is a 15-minute drive away.   

The Holiday Inn offers Twin, Double, and Executive Club Level rooms, all of which are decorated with simple but modern decor with pops of red and orange. Flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, kettles, and writing desks are standard in all rooms, and some come with sofa beds. Smoking rooms, connecting rooms, and cribs are available, and guests can request a rollaway bed for a fee. Windows open inward and provide views of a garden in the rear of the hotel or downtown Frankfurt. Top-floor rooms have windows that open onto a roof. Bathrooms are standard, offering walk-in showers with curtains and mounted soap dispensers. Kids under 18 stay at the hotel for free and one pet per room is allowed free of charge.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the Holiday Inn Express and the hotel offers a 24-hour business corner near the lobby entrance on the ground floor with a PC computer, a printer/copy machine, and a wall-mounted payphone.The hotel also offers two modern meeting rooms decorated in light wood furniture, red curtains, and large windows. The Warschau Room can fit 16 to 30 people depending on how it's set up. The Wien Room fits 20 to 45 people. DVD players, projectors, flip charts, microphones, and other audiovisual equipment are available. A tiny corner is set up with a small table and several toys for kids.

There’s also a secured underground parking lot that is accessible via elevators in the lobby. Near the rear of the hotel entrance is a small, above-ground parking lot. Both lots have gated entrances. Street parking is also available right in front of the hotel.
