The front desk dominates most of the room, and there's a small desk with some basic tour information, but no seating area. A parking lot wraps around the buildings so that guests can park right by their rooms. A large atrium houses the indoor pool and whirlpool, and there's an oceanfront deck that leads right onto the beach. Outdoor hallways and stairs lead to the guest rooms, which all have private entrances.

The surrounding area at the Montauk Blue Hotel is scenic and beautiful. The hotel is located right by the beach between several other hotels on South Emerson Avenue. It's a 15-minute walk to the town center, which has a variety of restaurants, shops, bars, activities, and entertainment options. Bike rentals are available nearby, and guests who want to explore more of the area can hire taxis through the front desk. The Hamptons Jitney also has a stop nearby. It's a 10-minute drive to the Montauk Airport and New York City takes a minimum of three hours to reach by car.
