Bottom Line

The 118-room SunConnect Liberty Hotel is a mid-range hotel located in town, just five minutes’ walking distance to the main strip. The hotel has contemporary Standard Rooms with sofa beds and Family Rooms with up to three separate bedrooms, making it a good option for parents traveling with children. For entertaining the kids, there are a kiddy pool, waterslides, a kids' club, and daily activities -- though they can be disorganized. For couples, there's a silent pool for adults only, as well as a spa with Turkish bath and treatment rooms. Several restaurants and bars are on-site with mostly positive reviews, and all-inclusive packages are optional. The beach isn't within walking distance, but regular buses run to Oludeniz. Those that would rather be within a five-minute walk of the beach should consider the Suncity Hotel & Beach Club.

SunConnect Liberty Hisaronu

Scene

Relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere with several pools

SunConnect Liberty Hotel caters to families with kids and couples looking to be near Hisaronu’s buzzing nightlife. The majority of guests are from England, as is common for the area. The atmosphere and music around the main waterslide pool can be boisterous, but there's an adult-only pool for those looking to relax. The hotel is composed of two- to three-story buildings painted beige with smoked-glass railings on their balconies. The complex has manicured gardens and paved walking paths, plus gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. The design is contemporary with stylish touches, such as velvet seating and damask wallpaper accents in the lobby, and the yellow-cushioned wrought-iron chairs at the poolside bar. The property was formerly the Asena Village Hotel, and most guests note that it has greatly improved since then.

Liberty Hotels Hisaronu is located five minutes’ walking distance from the main strip in Hisaronu, which has loads of restaurants, bars, shops, and spas. Rooms

Stylish air-conditioned rooms with an option for separate bedrooms for children

There are 118 modern, attractive rooms outfitted in mostly neutral tones with pops of blue, as well as wood floors, accent wallpaper, and occasionally colorful artwork. All rooms, which range from Standard to Deluxe Family, have sofa beds that are ideal for families, plus some have separate bedrooms. Also standard are small furnished balconies with smoked-glass railings; rooms in the back face the mountains and are believed to be quieter than those by the pool. Air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and free Wi-Fi are provided, but safes require a fee and kettles must be rented. Simple, but well-maintained bathrooms have large showers with rainfall showerheads, toiletries, and hairdryers.

Features

Several pools and dining options, plus a quality spa

There's enough on-site to keep most guests occupied, starting with several pools. The main pool is huge and has waterslides and an adjacent kiddy pool, or there's an adult-only pool with a more peaceful vibe. Loungers and umbrellas are abundant in both areas. Kids can also stay entertained with an outdoor playground, kids' club and Teen Lounge, and daily activities, though some guests have reported the latter can be disorganized. The resort’s spa offers massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, and facials, as well as a huge, traditional marble Turkish bath and a unisex hair salon. The gym is tiny and equipped with just a few pieces of equipment.

The hotel has a main restaurant called Asia, which serves breakfast and dinner and an a la carte restaurant that has Turkish cuisine. The food gets mostly positive reviews, especially on theme nights such as barbecue or Gala Nights. There is a snack bar and a pool bar as well as a Bar Tech, for charging electronics while drinking a beverage, and Why Not? Terrace Bar, which has karaoke. Note that guests must charge everything to their room, which some have complained of leading to additional charges.
