Situated in a modern high-rise with a flat facade and rows of windows, the Butterfly On Prat is tucked in among other tall buildings on Prat Street. The lobby is small but stylish with a white tiled floor and white walls that tastefully show off colorful, modern, and eclectic accents like lit walls, cut-out molded chairs, and modern paintings. The hotel offers few common areas or extra property features, but its eclectic modern decor extends into the hotel's guest rooms and hallways to create a cohesive whole. Its central location and range of room sizes appeals to a variety of travelers, from business guests and tourists to families with children. 

Situated on the south end of the Kowloon Peninsula, Butterfly On Prat is located in the middle of a row of packed buildings in the bustling tourist and shopping district of Tsim Sha Tsui. This popular area is filled to the brim with shops, eateries, and attractions. The area is home to a plethora of upscale shopping areas, and guests can walk to malls like the K11, The One, and the Harbour City Mall, all five to 10 minutes away on foot. Guests can also walk to the harbor and famous attractions like the Bruce Lee Statue on the Avenue of the Stars (13 minutes), the pedestrianized Knutsford Terrace (seven minutes), Kowloon Park (nine minutes), and the heritage buildings on Salisbury Road (nine minutes). The hotel is in close proximity to public transport, with both the MTR and buses within a five-minute walk from the hotel and the Star Ferry a 14-minute walk away. Hong Kong International Airport is an hour away via public transportation.

Butterfly On Prat's rooms range in style and size, from the 230 square foot Superior Rooms to the 530 square foot Deluxe Family Quad Rooms. They're simple but tasteful and clean with functional features. White bedding, wall-to-wall carpeting, and a colored accent wall that may be beige, bright green, or orange give a bold but streamlined backdrop. Beds are accented with a rose-shaped throw pillow and colorful 3D fabric butterflies on the pillowcases. Some rooms also sport a piece of butterfly art.

Standard amenities include work desks with molded chairs, wardrobe space, and electronic safes. Each room also has a small area with a mini-fridge and coffee- and tea-making facilities; some include microwaves. All rooms include individually controlled air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, multi-media docking stations, and LCD TVs with satellite and cable channels. Guests are offered the use of free smartphones during their stay, which includes unlimited 3G data and local calling. Bathrooms generally feature small vanities, toilets, and standing showers and come stocked with individual toiletries and hairdryers.
