Sirenis Hotel Club Siesta

Housed in a boxy white building not very different from neighboring structures, the upper-mid-range Sirenis Hotel Club Siesta is your typical Ibiza all-inclusive. However, a few traditional architectural elements, such as exposed wooden beams and local stone walls in some common spaces, make for a more appealing look than other newer, more generic hotels in the area. The lobby is airy and bright, with glass walls overlooking the grounds, a central seating area, and a skylight. Off the lobby is the main bar, complete with a small lounge area featuring a traditional open fireplace. Although family-friendly, the hotel is mostly quiet (except maybe the pool area during the day), and nightly entertainment ends before midnight, allowing for peaceful nights. Leisure travelers are drawn here for the laid-back vibe and location a short walk from nice beaches.

This hotel is located in Siesta, a quiet residential neighborhood directly south of Santa Eulalia. There are a few shops selling beach gear, and a handful of restaurants and bars nearby, but the area is mostly serene. Central Santa Eulalia, home to an array of dining and drinking options, is just a short stroll away along the promenade. The Sirenis is near a small sandy beach, but it gets seaweed sometimes and some guests prefer Santa Eulalia’s beach, which is a 15-minute walk away. There are a couple of other stretches of sand a little farther north. Ibiza Town can be reached by car in 20 minutes, and the drive to the airport takes about 25 minutes.

Rooms at Sirenis Hotel Club Siesta are bright and decorated in a subtle beachy style, with blue bed runners, matching pillows and sofa upholstering, and blue drapes. Though the traditional wood furniture is elegant, and the soft sand-colored accent walls add some style, decor is a little generic overall. All units have a sofa bed for an extra guest, but most rooms are tight when occupied by more than two adults and a child. Each room has air-conditioning, a mini-fridge, a small tube TV, and a balcony furnished with a table, two chairs, and a clothes rack. Wi-Fi and safes are available for a fee. Junior Suites have a spacious separate living area and a larger terrace. Additionally, these units have updated bathrooms with blue mosaic tiling, jetted tubs, and modern rectangular sinks over wood countertops. Rooms lack electric kettles.

The pool area is large enough to fit in dozens of loungers and parasols, but the pool itself is small for a hotel this size, and loungers have seen better days. The snack bar serves cocktails, sodas, and made to order food, and for larger meals, the buffet restaurant serves a nice spread with plenty of choice. The fitness center has large floor-to-ceiling windows and features modern equipment and laminate floors. Family-friendly amenities include a kids' pool adjacent to the main one, a playground, ping-pong tables, and a mini-golf course. There is no full spa here, but there is a poolside hut offering massages, manicures, and pedicures. The hotel also offers a few parking spots at no extra charge, though these are limited. Wi-Fi is available throughout, but guests must pay a pesky fee to connect.
