Berce Hotel

Berce Hotel is a charming building with stone features, wooden window casings, and wrought-iron balconies. Interiors have a cozy feel, though there aren't many public spaces. The lobby consists of a small wooden front desk and a purple couch, with minimal decor that includes several pieces of art on the walls. A staircase with metal rails winds up the floors of the hotel all the way to the top-floor breakfast room where panoramic windows offer views of the Marmara Sea. There’s a stone terrace where guests can enjoy their meals or a glass of wine alfresco while taking in the views of neighboring rooftops. 

Berce Hotel is located on a cobblestone street in the historic Sultanahmet area, one of the best destinations for sightseeing in Istanbul. Several attractions are within walking distance, including the gorgeous Blue Mosque, only a five-minute walk away, and Hagia Sofia, a 10-minute walk. Topkapi Palace, the Grand Bazaar, and Basilica Cistern are also all within walking distance as well. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the airport is about a 30-minute drive. 

There are only seven rooms at Berce Hotel, which include Single, Double, and Triple Rooms. Rooms are clean and cozy, with homey decor that includes area rugs and wooden furnishings. All rooms have air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, free Wi-Fi, and minibars; four of them have small balconies. Some bathrooms have small, stand-up showers and others have shower/tub combinations. Heated towel racks and slippers are a nice touch. Basement rooms don't get much light and humidity can be an issue.

There’s a free breakfast with a wide variety of homemade dishes served in a top-floor room with sea views and an outdoor terrace. The hotel has free Wi-Fi and parking, and the lobby has books for guests to read and umbrellas to borrow.
