Paloma Pasha Resort

Paloma Pasha Resort is a large property with a friendly atmosphere and modern interiors on the beach in Ozdere-Izmir. Designed to blend into its beautiful setting, the hotel is surrounded by natural-looking landscaping and tall leafy trees. The vast lobby is flooded with sunlight and features a mostly beige color palette accented with striped seating, ornate screens, and colorful pottery. A small bar just off the lobby is a casual spot to relax and there are roomy outdoor patios with comfortable wicker seating and partial views of the beach. The property is starting to show some signs of wear and tear, including around the wooden pool decks. Most guests are couples or families with children, and the large outdoor pools (including one for kids) are spacious enough to accommodate everyone. 

The hotel is located in a quiet area in Ozdere Izmir and sits directly on a small bay with a sandy beach. The location is convenient for tourists as the neighborhood is within five to 15 minutes' walking distance of bars, restaurants, grocery markets, and shops. The city center of Ozdere can be reached in 15 minutes by car. The House of Virgin Mary, believed to be the last residence of the Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus, is a 50-minute drive away. The ancient city of Ephesus, which dates back to 6000 BC, is about a 40-minute drive. Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport is about 45 minutes away by car. 

Rooms at the Paloma Pasha Resort are comfortable and modernly decorated in shades of beige, mauve, and turquoise. Marble floors and leather headboards are luxe touches, while stylish wicker-and-wood chairs lend sophistication. Walls are festooned with decorative metal plates and landscape paintings, and there are wallpaper accent walls behind the beds. Standard features include flat-screen TVs, minibars, coffee- and tea-making facilities, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Rooms also have sofas. Suites are available for guests needing extra sleeping space. Bathrooms have beautiful traditional Turkish tile walls and walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads and glass doors. Toiletries and hairdryers are provided. Guests have access to a private sandy beach lined with sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as large indoor and outdoor pools and a kiddy pool with waterslides. Kids' and teens' clubs are available and the resort provides poolside entertainment and games that get mixed reviews from guests.
