Bottom Line

The Inn at Jackson Hole is a lower-to-mid-range hotel with a central location, close to the chairlift and Teton Village's small but diverse dining scene. It has 83 fairly spacious rooms with fully equipped kitchenettes and fireplaces (except in the Standard rooms), but bland, rustic decor and no other no-cost amenities. The only outstanding features are the nice pool with mountain views and the solid Japanese restaurant. Parking and Wi-Fi are included in the (unnecessary) resort fee.

Inn at Jackson Hole

Location

In the heart of Teton Village, within walking distance to restaurants and spas

The Inn at Jackson Hole is located in the heart of tiny Teton Village at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. There are a few restaurants and spas in the immediate neighborhood, but Teton Village is a tiny place with few attractions. People come here in the winter (when prices soar) to ski the challenging slopes of Jackson Hole Resort, and there's little to do besides enjoying the great views and the charm of a mountain village.

Teton Village is starting to become a real ski resort town, with more dining options and spas than a few years ago -- but it's also alive during the summer, when families and outdoor types come to this side of Snake River to enjoy the rafting trips and hard-to-beat views. It is also a good base to explore the numerous national parks nearby.

  • 30-minute drive to Jackson Hole Airport
  • 15-minute drive to downtown Jackson
  • 35-minute drive to the National Museum of Wildlife Art
  • 45-minute drive to the National Elk Refuge
  • 1-hour drive to Jackson Lake
  • 1-hour-35-minute drive to Yellowstone National Park
