The Cliff Hotel

Scene

Bright, open, scenic resort

The spacious, open-air lobby of the The Cliff Hotel is a quick walk from the main entrance, with a large reception desk, concierge, and a small seating area with sofas and chairs. The lobby has a public computer tucked to the side as well as entrances to the gift shop, spa, and the rest of the resort. A small desk for tours and drivers is right near the door. A curved double staircase leads up to rooms, and lounge chairs and tables allow guests to sit in the lobby and enjoy the sweeping view of the pools, gardens, and cliffs.

Location

Quiet and secluded; separate from the rest of Negril

Located far back in the cliffs of Negril, the resort seems a bit remote when compared to other hotels and resorts in the area. While there isn't much within walking distance, and the road can be dangerous for pedestrians, there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars a short drive away, including Rick’s Cafe. The seclusion keeps the resort very serene and peaceful, with no noise from nearby roads or other hotels to disturb guests, but it's something to keep in mind when planning excursions and activities, as West End Road is winding and tends to be busy.
