Four Points by Sheraton Las Vegas East Flamingo

The lobby and hallways of the Baymont Inn & Suites are painted a cheery yellow, with vibrant blue-and-yellow carpeting in the hallways, which adds some flair to the place. A small table with water, coffee, and apples adds a thoughtful touch. At the breakfast buffet guests can make their own waffles, and eat in a small room that has a diner-like feel, with tile floors and wooden tables. A lot of families stay at the hotel, so it doesn’t have the raucous feel of a casino hotel. Arched windows line the outer walls of the indoor pool area, shedding a lot of light. There are four chairs at the pool but no loungers.

Baymont Inn & Suites is across from an outlet mall with several casual restaurants, including Buffalo Wild Wings, Five Guys Burger & Fries, and Chili’s. It’s about a 15-minute drive from the Strip, the three-and-a-half mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard packed with casinos. It’s less than a 15-minute drive to McCarran International Airport, and the hotel provides a free airport shuttle as well as a shuttle to nearby locations. 

Rooms at Baymont Inn & Suites have pale yellow walls and little decor aside from the big mirrors behind the beds. All rooms have 32-inch flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers, and free Wi-Fi, but the striped carpeting could use a refresh. Rooms with microwaves and mini-fridges are available. Bathrooms are basic with white tile floors and shower/tub combinations. 

The hotel has a heated indoor pool in a bright space and a small fitness center with three exercise machines, including a treadmill and an elliptical machine. The hotel serves a free breakfast buffet including such items as cereals, eggs, sausage, yogurt, and waffles. There is an ATM and an Internet corner in the lobby with one computer. Meeting rooms are available for private events, and pets are allowed for a fee. Wi-Fi is free throughout.
