Best Spring Break Party Hotels in Las Vegas

Oyster reporters have surveyed hundreds of hotels in Las Vegas. We’ve taken part in the wildest pool parties, hit up the legendary buffets, and even taken a few back, all in order to find the top properties. Here’s a list of our favorite hotels for a party-hearty spring break. (Some hotels might charge fees for extra guests in a room, but, as we were tipped off by a friendly reservations agent, they won’t know if you don’t tell.)

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

Hard Rock is one of the most unapologetically hedonistic hotels in Las Vegas, which is a hard trophy to come by in this town. The hotel's nightclub, Vanity, brings the place celebrity cachet, but it is Rehab, the raucous pool party, for which Hard Rock is most famous. A happening reputation, however, translates to higher rates.

Palms Casino Resort

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

This off-the-Strip hotel is known for its crazy parties and celebrity stopovers. The three-tower 425-room resort has modern, but not plush, rooms and numerous popular clubs -- Rain, a quintessential nightclub complete with go-go dancers, and Moon, a nightclub with live DJs, multiple bars, and a retractable roof. Guests can buy a pass to all of the hotel's clubs, but beware that entry lines can be time-consuming.

3

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Autograph Collection

The Strip, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

The Cosmopolitan has quickly established itself as one of the trendiest spots on the Strip. The typical Vegas kitsch has been swapped out for aggressively modern design and futuristic touches (guests sign in on an iPad). Fanfare aside, rooms are large and feature comfortable, designer furnishings and modern, open bathrooms. All types of travelers seem to come here, from frat boys to gambling grandmothers, but the nights decidedly belong to the younger crowd at BOND and Marquee -- as do the days, during Marquee's seasonal "dayclub" party poolside.

4

Hooters Casino Hotel

Off the Strip Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

The Hooters Casino Hotel is what you'd expect from the popular restaurant chain: a relaxed party scene and lowbrow fun at a reasonable price. It's no surprise that this hotel is home to a raging party scene; the youthful crowd makes the most of the low-stakes casino and casual nightspots. Expect to see female bartenders dance on the bar in teensy outfits, and sometimes even hang from the ceiling.

5

Luxor Hotel & Casino

The Strip, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

The Luxor is one of the cheapest hotels on the Strip, but it's also a party destination in its own right -- so spring breakers don't have to head farther than downstairs for a night on the town. The hotel's Los Angeles megaclub LAX has 26,000 square feet spread over two floors, and with red leather, mirrors, and bottle service everywhere, you can be sure you'll be fist-bumping with the best of them. LAX is the main affair at Luxor, but there are eight other bars, including Flight and Aurora.

6

Encore At Wynn Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

Las Vegas is pretty much the only city in the world where you can find a five-pearl hotel in this price range. Spring breakers willing to splurge can party like rock stars at XS nightclub, which surrounds the Encore's sexy European Pool and Island Bar. A 10-foot rotating chandelier and nude mannequin torsos are part of the decor.

7

The Venetian Resort

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

This razzle-dazzle version of Venice, complete with gondola rides, a replica of Saint Mark's Square, some 5,030 guest rooms and acres of casino, is one of the premier hotels in Vegas and a fun spring break pick. Its trendy, modern Tao nightclub is one of the hippest party scenes on the Strip, pulling in a young crowd that you can spot waiting for entry for an hour or so inside the hotel's mall.

8

MGM Grand Hotel and Casino

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

MGM Grand is the second largest hotel in the world (and it only lost the first spot recently), so it stands to reason that this hotel would be a perfect place to unleash one's party animal side. Hakkasan, a huge five-story nightclub, has renowned resident DJs (think: Calvin Harris) that bring in serious crowds. Other party havens include Centrifuge and the WET REPUBLIC Ultra Pool, a popular adults-only complex for daytime partying.

9

Caesars Palace

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

Caesars Palace has defined excess on the Strip since it opened in the 1960s, and the bachelor party pad of choice for the Hangover crew is a solid option for living out your spring break fantasy. It's home to the posh, Omnia nightclub, a 75,000-square-foot space with DJs and a rooftop garden. There are multiple pool areas, from the VIP Bacchus Pool to European style Venus Pool.

10

Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

Even though Mandalay Bay is an extremely family-friendly hotel, partiers flock to this hotel for the 11-acre pool complex; it houses a lazy river and the strip's only wave pool. A rowdy pool party (and topless sunbathing) can be found at the Moorea Beach Club pool, which only allows adults ages 21 and up and charges a cover for men to access the pool, but a lesser fee for women. Bars like Eyecandy Sound Lounge and Fat Tuesday draw plenty of twentysomethings into the hotel as well.
