Jambuluwuk Oceano Resort

The interiors at Jambuluwuk Oceano Resort are rather understated. The main highlight is its beautiful tropical, beachfront setting. Outside, the grounds are lush with sparkling blue swimming pools surrounded by shady tropical trees, with enough surrounding sun loungers for guests to relax. There's also a large yacht replica which houses the sports bar, bringing in a fun element. The main restaurant, The Club House, is also set outside, mostly near the beach. The lobby is mostly open-air and includes a few spots to sit, and a big billiards table in the center. Overall, the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed, attracting guests happy to be away from the island's busy party scene -- making this a popular spot for families and honeymooners. The property is also ideal for intimate tropical weddings.

Situated on the northern side of Gili Trawangan Island, Jambuluwuk Oceano Resort has a slightly quieter location away from the island's party scene on the southern coast. Cars and motorbikes aren’t allowed on the Gili Islands, so visitors can only get around by bikes, horse-drawn carriages (cidomos), or on foot -- the hotel allows guests free use of their bicycles. The property is located right on the North Beach, which is a popular spot for snorkeling on the island. There are a couple of restaurants within a close walking distance from the hotel, otherwise it's about a 15-minute cycle or 20-minute walk to the main action in the center of the island. It's a 10-minute horse-carriage ride from Gili Trawangan Port. For those flying into Lombok International Airport -- it’s about an hour- and 30-minute drive to the Lombok dock and a 15-minute boat ride to the Gili Islands from there.

The 95 guest rooms are inspired by traditional Lombok village houses with simple, understated interiors. Decor is pretty standard throughout the rooms with mostly neutral color schemes and more colorful accents in the bedspreads, artwork, and mirror frames. The rooms are spacious and open onto private terraces looking out onto either the beach, the garden, or the pool area and are furnished with two chairs and a small table. All rooms include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, tea- and- coffee-making facilities, desks, telephones, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms include walk-in showers (some rooms also include tubs), hairdryers, and basic toiletries. Slippers are provided.

The Private Villa is the most spacious and luxurious with a separate lounge and dining area as well as a private eight-meter swimming pool and private garden with sun loungers -- ideal for honeymooners. 

Jambuluwuk has an attractive list of features along with its beachfront location. A buffet breakfast is included in all room rates and guests have the option of three dining facilities. The Club House is set right on the beach and serves a selection of tapas and mix of local and international dishes. There's also the Jewel Coffee Shop, and the Pemenang Sport Bar which is located in the large yacht-shaped building next to the swimming pools. 

Outside, the Sentanu Waterfall Garden area includes a large outdoor swimming pool surrounded by shady tropical trees and ample sun loungers. It also features a central pool bar and a kiddy swimming pool connected to a 20-meter long swimming pool that leads to the waterfall gardens. Melah Spa offers a selection of traditional spa treatments.

The Java Meeting Room is a 110-square meter space that can be used for either business meetings or intimate events for up to 40 guests. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Additional features include a kids' playground, 24-reception, luggage storage, laundry services, and free bicycles to borrow.
