Belgravia, London Travel Guide
- Beautiful area with many historic buildings and squares
- Calm and quiet (without being eerily desolate)
- In close proximity to lively Chelsea
- Few inexpensive hotels
- Not much to do
What It's Like
Belgravia is an upscale neighborhood centered around Belgrave Square, a historic square now home to multiple embassies, and has a similar vibe to Mayfair. Though it's a quieter spot, with white stucco house-lined streets and fewer restaurants and shops, it is just a short walk from the pubs, restaurants, and lively atmosphere of neighboring Chelsea.
Where to Stay
The hotels located directly in Belgravia can be very expensive, but those who stay on the outskirts can often find better prices, and also will be better located to a lively nightlife scene.
