We visited the stylish Avant Garde Tower in Shoreditch, where guests are greeted in a large, high-ceilinged lobby filled with natural light courtesy of floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights. A rounded silver front desk stands out against dark herringbone-pattern brick floors and white leather couches, while tree murals on the walls add color. A common lounge area is filled with elegant tufted leather furniture and light wood floors, plus there's a lovely rooftop terrace with lots of potted plants and wood bench seating as well as magnificent city views. There's also an outdoor courtyard with metal bench seating, shrubs, and modern fountains. Decor and amenities throughout the different House of MoLi properties vary, but all are modern, with stylish contemporary decor and furnishings. Travelers should be aware, however, that some complexes do not have elevators.

The Avant-Garde Tower that we visited is centrally situated in the trendy Shoreditch area with restaurants, the Rich Mix Cinema, the Shoreditch High Street Underground station, Tesco Express, and the BOXPARK Shoreditch a five-minute walk away. Shops and the Old Street Station are a 15-minute walk, while the Liverpool Street Train Station and the Fenchurch Street Train Station are a five- and ten-minute drive, respectively, though Liverpool Station can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. Heathrow Airport is an hour away by car depending on traffic, as is Gatwick Airport.
