Premier Inn London Victoria Hotel is a standard chain property in a red-brick building that's not terribly exciting, though it does deliver dependability. Guests are greeted by a purple electronic check-in system. Though it’s meant to improve efficiency and get guests to their rooms quickly, some complain that it's too impersonal. To the left of the check-in area is a small sitting room with gray armchairs, a flat-screen TV, and snack machines. The decor is standard for the Premier Inn chain -- contemporary style, a purple-and-gray color scheme, and abstract artwork on the walls. While the decor is pleasant and welcoming, it's not especially elegant. Thyme Restaurant is a mix of wood floors and patterned carpeting, plaid bar chairs, and stylish gray and purple chairs with wooden tables. The hotel attracts a range of guests, but mostly families and couples likely drawn to the hotel’s convenient location and dependable services.

This hotel is located within easy reach of many tourist attractions. Buckingham Palace is about a 15-minute walk away, while Westminster Cathedral is a nine-minute walk, and Big Ben a 20-minute walk. It’s a three-minute walk to the Victoria station tube stop, and there's a bus station within a two-minute walk of the hotel. There are several restaurants on the surrounding streets, and some shopping in Victoria Place, a shopping center above Victoria Station. Heathrow Airport is a 33- to 41-minute drive from the hotel, or a 55-minute trip on public transportation. Gatwick Airport is about an hour's drive, or a 35-minute trip on the Gatwick Express. 

The Premier Inn London Victoria Hotel has 110 rooms, all of which are decorated in a minimal, contemporary style with modern light-wood furnishings, white linens, and purple accents in headboards, bed runners, curtains, and trash cans, and gray-and-purple carpeting. All rooms come with flat-screen TVs, tea- and coffee-making facilities, desks, hairdryers, and free low-speed Wi-Fi. Guests have complained about the in-room air-conditioning and the sealed windows that make fresh air inaccessible. The white bathrooms are small with not much counter space. They come with showers or shower/tub combos, and the toiletries are in wall dispensers. The hotel’s "Good Night Guarantee" policy allows guests to claim a refund if they fail to get a good night’s sleep.
