While the hotel offers only the essentials, it is clean and welcoming. The furniture throughout has a lucky-find quality, and there is no overarching aesthetic. The small lobby area has a few simple chairs, and overlooking the entranceway is a small mezzanine where a free continental breakfast is served. The heated pool is a moderate size and has a few plastic chaise lounges around it. The rooftop garden is more welcoming, with tables, chairs, lounges, and an array of potted plants and flowers. Longer-term guests and travelers on a budget are drawn to the basic amenities and convenient locale.
